The Rich Student: Your key to making money from the comfort of your own dorm room

Believe it or not, college is the best place to make money. Yeah, there are a lot of activities going on, you have a lot of homework, and you enjoy spending time with friends partying and what not. But I guarantee you that you have days where you have a few hours of downtime that is just filled with complete boredom. I know I do. Now who says those hours can’t be used making money? I’m not talking about going out and getting a part time job. I’m talking about sitting in pajamas in your dorm room, making money. I’m talking about sleeping in your comfortable bed and still making money at 3 am. I’m talking about sitting on you couch, literally watching your bank and PayPal account grow by the second. This, my friend, is what I like to call passive income and it requires no manual labor. That’s where this book comes in. In here you will find a lot of great things to do to help you earn a second income, without ever leaving the comfort of your own dorm room. Just imagine the possibilities…

And hey, who says this book is only for students? If you are trying to find cool ways to make money without leaving your home or maybe even at work, then this book is also for you.

To check this book out, just follow click HERE or click on the book photo.

You can also find this book on Apple iTunes, Barnes and Noble online, Sony Reader Store, Kobo, Diesel, and Scrollmotion. Plus in a few weeks, a print version will be available on Amazon.com for those of you who enjoy real books as opposed to eBooks.

How to Make Money Blogging

There are two major types of business models that entrepreneurs use to make money blogging. The first and most common way to turn a blog into a profit making machine is to sell advertising to different companies and brands who want to reach that blog's readers. The second kind of money making blog is one that helps a single brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. Both kinds of blogs can make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a keen mind for marketing.

If you are blogging with the goal of selling advertising, there are two basic ways that you can go about recruiting sponsors who want to put ads on your site; you can let someone else do all of the legwork, or you can do the work yourself and keep all of the revenue. Within the first group, many people make money blogging by using Google AdSense (To learn more about AdSense, be sure to check out my free eBook on right sidebar of the home page). The advantages of this program are numerous, as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger or webmaster to begin raking in profits. However, most people discover that they make less money through this method than they had hoped that their blog would earn.

Selling advertising directly to companies who want to put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog can take quite a bit of time, but it is often fairly lucrative. If you have a lot of contacts in industries that are related to the topic of your blog, you may want to try to go this route. People who have a strong background in sales and are experienced at pitching proposals can make quite a bit of money by renting blog space to interested companies. The most serious problem with this model is that you often have to build quite a sizable readership before you can attract advertisers, which can mean that you have to do several months of work before you start to make money blogging.

Taking Your Blog Idea and Turning it into Reality

If you look on the internet, you will find so many blogs. Whenever you search for something on Google, it’s almost guaranteed that at least 2 of your top results will be from a blog. Now because of that, it’s sometimes pretty hard to distinguish your blogging web site from all of the others. That’s why you need to have a great idea and a niche to deliver your content to.

Whether you are starting up a new web site aimed at bloggers or whether you are looking to make your existing blogging site more distinctive, the key to building and maintaining a site that will capture the interest and attention of the blogging community is finding your niche. If you can fill a unique need in a way that no other web site does, you'll be able to build a lasting readership among web surfers. Once you have discovered a niche, you will still have a lot to do, but finding your place in the blogosphere is the place to begin.

Every great blogging web site starts with a great idea, and you can't build a successful site that will last without one. There are many great sites aimed at today's bloggers, and competition for the attention of this growing demographic is fierce. To make your blogging web site stand out from the pack, you will need to offer something that no other site is currently offering, or you will need to do the same thing that an already popular site does but in a more impressive or valuable way.

One way to discover an ideal model for your blogging web site is to look at the sites that have successfully captured a blogging audience already to determine if you can appropriate some of their strategies to help realize your vision. Of course, you will also need to add a unique flair to your project in order to stand apart from your competition. Many people agree that the web sites that do the best in today's market are the sites that have the most personality. So consider how you can give your site a unique and attractive feeling by lending your own voice and sensibility to your site's design and content.

Once you have a great idea for your site, have pinpointed a special niche that you are well equipped to fill, and have infused the site with personality, the next step is figuring out how to get the word out to bloggers (we’ll talk about that in our marketing segment). In the long run, a great idea just isn't enough to propel your blogging web site to success. You will need to draft a smart and realistic marketing plan in order to draw readers to your site. Once you hook a blogger, your great content will keep them coming back. But your number one priority is finding a way to keep the readers hooked once they land on your site.

Freelance Writing Can Help You Make Some Extra Cash

Welcome fellow Rich Student! My name is Adam Bryan and I am currently a college student finding and experimenting new ways to make some extra cash all in the convenience of my own dorm room. Join me on this journey as well explore new ways to put a lot more extra money in your pockets.

Now to the post!

Now you see, I understand that making money in college can sometimes be quite stressful. With all the homework, clubs, and commitments that fill a student's life, it sometimes can be difficult to make some money. Well here is one great option that could benefit the writer in you.

Become a Freelance Writer

If you are a great writer and have a plethora of knowledge to share on specific topics, freelance writing can help you make some extra money.  As a freelance writer, you go on websites such as Freelanced.com and Elanced to find writing assignments. You would then apply for the assignment and if you get it, you can get paid once you finish your assignment. I have seen assignment pay ranges anywhere from $5 to $1000. It just depends on your skills, time, and willingness to do it. This is a great option for those who enjoy writing and have a few extra minutes to write a few blog posts. Trust me, spending 15 minutes working on a freelance writing assignment is a lot more beneficial than using that time on Facebook. Give it a try and you will truly know if it's right for you or not.
